Comppritin A4 is an effective inhibitor of tubulin polymerization and has strong inhibitory activity on tumor cell growth. It inhibits tumor growth in a variety of cell lines, including IMR32 (neuroblastoma), Hs746T (gastric cancer), ChemicalbookCFPAC-1 (pancreatic cancer), and MCF-7 (breast cancer), with IC50 values of 2.16, 5.20, 3.46, and 18.47nM, respectively. CA4 inhibited tubulin polymerization with IC50 of 2.2μM.
